Audiology representation for NHSE Specialised Ear Surgery service specification and policy working groups

James Tysome, Consultant ENT and Skull Base Surgeon in Cambridge, is seeking the help of four audiologists to be part of working groups for the following projects:

1. Service specification rewrite. IMPLANTABLE HEARING AIDS FOR MICROTIA, BONE ANCHORED HEARING AIDS AND MIDDLE EAR IMPLANTS (ALL AGES). Two audiologists required - one from a centre that also provides MEI and CI and another from a centre that only provides BCHI.

2. Nee policy proposal. Cochlear implants in single sided deafness

Each group will meet several times over a 6-12 months period and all meetings will take place remotely.
