If you have been targeted by scammers offerng Life membership of BCIG, our system providers have the following advice:
It is frustrating, but we expect these to calm down in time.
One thing we recommend  is that recipients not only  delete or assign them as spam, but they could create a rule in their mailbox to auto delete anything with the exact subject “Final reminder – confirm your BCIG Lifetime Membership” as this is the title the spammers are using for every email. As time goes on, the emails will gradually wain and they will automatically go to the spam folder automatically.

Please remember that authentic BCIG emails will be from the info@bcig.org.uk address and not from anywhere else.
