Keynote Lecture announced for CI2025 Boston
Dr. Paul H. Van de Heyning has been selected to deliver a keynote lecture at CI2025 Boston entitled “Single-Sided Deafness and Frequently Allocation in Cochlear Implantation.” Dr. Van De Heyning’s lecture will be on Friday, May 2nd at 9:30AM. CI2025 Boston is taking place April 30 – May 3, 2025, at the at the OMNI Seaport Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Paul Van de Heyning is emeritus professor and former dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Antwerp, as well as consultant and former chairman of the University Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery of the Antwerp University Hospital (UZA). His clinical expertise focuses on otology, neuro-otology and cochlear implants, and OSAS-hypoglossal nerve stimulation. He has published 650 peer-reviewed articles and has been the supervisor of 74 PhD theses.
He was the past president of CI2018 Antwerp, the 15thInternationalConference on Cochlear Implants and Other Implantable Auditory Technology. He was a founding member, past chair and current vice-chair of HEARRING, an independent network of world leading centers and experts dealing with all aspects of hearing disorders. Dr. Van de Heyning has also worked to advocate for hearing health as a founding member and board member of the Hearing Health Forum EU.
CI2025 Boston features keynotes, podium talks and special sessions applicable to audiologists, physicians, speech pathologists, psychologists, scientists, engineers, educators, students, advocates, and others involved in cochlear implantation. The conference will provide attendees with opportunities to explore current global topics for cochlear implant patients across the lifespan with early bird registration discounts available through March 12, 2025.
